What is the objective of this mission?
The objective of this mission is to demonstrate the ability to dock and undock spacecraft in space. Docking is the joining of one spacecraft with another spacecraft and undocking is the separation of two spacecraft in space. This technology is important for India’s ambitious missions such as bringing back samples from the Moon, construction of Indian Space Station (BAS).
